Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get to meet my coach prior to starting?

Yes! Based on the info you submit, we will match you with a coach that is a fit for your goals and experiences. A member of our team will reach out and set up a 30-min discovery call with your coach.

What if I don’t have the right equipment for my programmed workouts?

Whether you train at home, your apartment’s fitness center, or a local gym, your coach will design your workouts to fit the resources available to you. Your coach will ensure that all exercise selection is aligned to you. This includes a hybrid plan (e.g. half at home, half at a gym).

How many days a week is my program?

During your discovery call, you and your coach will review your health and wellness goals. Together, you will agree on a plan that works best. This plan can easily be modified to increase or decrease the frequency of your weekly training schedule.

How will I know what to do if a coach is not with me watching?

Our platform allows for exercise video demonstrations as well as instructions. Here, your coach can provide information such as sets and reps, tempo, rest, and cues to focus on while performing your exercises.

What if my fitness goals change?

No problem! Your coach will check in with you at a frequency you are comfortable with. If you decide you want to change a specific fitness or performance goal, your coach will design a new program.

What if I am traveling?

By communicating directly with your coach, you can notify them of your travel in advance. Your coach will modify your program to fit your schedule as well as your resources while you travel. For example, if you are staying at a hotel on the road, let your coach know and they can create a workout tailored to that specific fitness center.

Will I be stuck with an annual fee if I decide I want to cancel?

At Kinect, your coaching subscription is month to month. If you decide to cancel, your subscription will end at the end of your monthly billing cycle, depending on start date. If you need to take an extended break from training, you can always pause your subscription and pick back up when you’re ready. During this time, you will not have access to your previous workouts.
